Llanfechain is a small village of about 600 people in the Cain valley, situated between Llansantffraid ym Mechain and Llanfyllin, and is approximately 10 miles from both Oswestry and Welshpool. For a map of where it is Click Here or set your SatNav to SY22 6UH.
Each year, on August Bank Holiday Monday, it hosts its own Village Show. The Show in 2020 would have been the 54th Show. This popular event, which provides live music all day and entertainment for all the family, is well supported by local exhibitors, and attracts visitors, including many tourists and holidaymakers, from a wide geographical area.
