1. MINUTES OF LAST MEETING    The minutes of the meeting held on 10th March were agreed and signed as a true record.

2.MATTERS ARISING:
 Equipment.  Once grants have been arranged we will be in a better position to buy new equipment.

 Attractions.  Dick had received a phone call from a Celtic four piece band called Ffonic from Newton, who were keen to come to the show.  Their fee would be £150 and they came with their own P.A. system.   Dick to confirm.

Judges.    The present situation is as follows:-
       Horticulture:   Edwin Hughes
       Floral Art:        Betty Jones
       Patio:                Shelly Wilde
       Craft:                Angela Hawkins
       Woodwork:    Mervin still to be contacted.
       Art and Photography:  No-one at present.
       Cookery:          Jean Evans from Llanrhaeadr has confirmed.
       Children’s’ Craft:  Delyth Evans still to confirm
       Dog show:       In hand. 

 3.ENTRY FEES
It was decided by a show of hands to increase the entry fee from £2.50 to £3.50.   Membership to be increased from £2.00 to £3.00.   Childrens’ entrance will stay at 50p.

4.CHEESE AND WINE EVENING
Dick and June have been over to France and brought back the wine and cheese.   A list was circulated for members to bring other items of food.   Committee members were also requested to bring raffle prizes.    Members were requested to meet at the hall at 2p.m. to set up and at 6.45 to prepare for the evening.

5. ANY OTHER BUSINESS
(a)  Glynn reported that the accounts had been checked and confirmed by Doug Holmes.
(b) Dick has started the schedule which should be ready by late May and he has also made a start with Awards for all Wales.     
(c) Gwyneth is touting for advertisements for the schedule.
(d) Tony has arranged for the Shropshire Bee-Keepers’ Association to come to the show and as well as bringing bees they will bring honey and will make candles on site with the wax from the honeycombs.
(e) The second largest marquee will be in situ on Sunday for Steve from the Plas yn Dinas to use for a Charity Event.
