Minutes of General Meeting – 6th May 2010

1. MINUTES OF LAST MEETING. The minutes of the meeting held on 1st March, 2010 were agreed and signed as a true record.
2. MATTERS ARISING:
Dog Show Table. This is in hand.
Food. The Hog Roast and other Caterers have confirmed.
Attractions. The Flatville Aces Trio has confirmed
Cadets. Tony is in liaison to arrange for some cadets to help on the day.
Cookery Demonstrations. June is attempting to arrange these and has booked a Floral Art NAFAS demonstration at a cost of £85.
3. JUDGES

4. CHEESE AND WINE EVENING
Tickets are now available. Lists were circulated for the raffle and food.
6. ANY OTHER BUSINESS
Grants. Because of having a healthy bank balance it is unlikely we will receive any grants this year.
Cookery. Alan suggested the demonstrations should be held in the hall, but this was not considered a viable idea.
Other Shows. June has received enquiries from three other shows asking how we arranged performers and attractions.
Helpers. We need some more helpers for the day and setting up and committee members were asked to enlist help.
Night Out. A suggestion was made that Night Out could be approached to have a night to make money for the show.
P.A. System. Following technical problems with the PA system last year, it was suggested that the PA system be checked out in good time this year.
